Inspired by a love of pebbles and sea glass. The wonderful organic shapes, smooth and rough textures and colours. Co-existing and evolving with water from flowing rivers and the worlds ever changing oceans. The original painting was completed in a loose organic style on the most extremely textured handmade paper I have ever worked on. I did a series of paintings using this very special cotton paper that was handmade in Melbourne, Australia. This piece shows some of the texture from the paper which was such fun to work with.
