Stage 2 - All letters of the alphabet are made up of turns (swoops) or loops or both. The turns and loops give each letter its ‘shape’. Once we have learned the basic shapes of letters we can move on and start to produce some amazing looking words and sentences. It’s important to understand how each letter is constructed with its turns and loops. There are many ways each letter can be written, this is just one way.
